Job description
GI Circuits Inc serves for the production needs of OEMs, including printed circuit board assembling, cable/harness, box build, and testing. The Buyer, Purchasing position will be responsible for procurement and handling of electronic components and related materials.
- Process requisitions to purchase electronic components and related materials for approved jobs
- Search and obtain best pricing, lead time, and availability of required parts and materials in compliance with customer requirement and company best practice
- Confirm, follow up, and track purchase orders against vendor confirmation, including delivery, quantity, and quality
- Maintain vendor relationship, including updating vendor profile
- Support production, QA, and other departments with timely and accurate information
- Work with other team members to resolve any issues that may come up with vendor supplied items
- Perform other duties may be requested, such as incoming inspection, participating in production and quality meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electronic manufacturing and/or electronics distribution environment
- Basic electronic component knowledge
- Good communication skill, bilingual in English and a different language a plus
- Teamwork and good attitude
- Minimum high school education
Pay: Negotiable
Regular working hours: 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday
